A Dirt Driveway in Chattanooga
Ever wake up, roll out of bed, and say something like, “What am I doing? Where am I going? Is there more than this?” That was me not that long ago. My business was doing okay, but going to work was getting tougher and tougher. I didn’t have the drive I used to. The life of running a practice, raising four small kids, and everything that goes with that was wearing me down.
Then something happened.
A single weekend in Fall 2017 spent in Chattanooga, Tennessee with other like-minded private practice owners changed my life forever. That was the weekend that Next Level Physical Therapy was born.
The founders of NLPT gathered together for our first mastermind. We threw all our numbers up on whiteboards, picked each others’ practices apart in a hot-seat format, and built action plans to make the necessary changes to get more wins in our practices. We held each other accountable for making those changes discussed at that first mastermind.
After that weekend, I got back to flying out of bed before my alarm clock went off and I haven’t stopped since. That weekend, with what are my best friends today, led me to find the answers to the questions at the beginning of this story. I now know what I am doing, where I am going, and what my life’s purpose is.
Our goal at NLPT is to have YOU flying out of your bed before YOUR alarm clock goes off again, just like you did when you first started your practice. We are going to make owning a private practice fun again by showing you how to build the ideal practice you had always dreamed of.
We have worked with hundreds of private practices since 2017 and that has given us some amazing insight into our profession. It has been a wild ride peeking behind the curtain of so many different businesses with varying models, such as:
- Single and multi-location insurance-based practices.
- Small cash PT practices.
- Neurologic population-focused practices.
- Training facilities that use PT as the tripwire to get clients into their true core service of personal training, massage, and exercise classes.
- Home care practices.
- 1-on-1 treatment models.
- Low reimbursement, high volume clinics.
- Combination of home care and outpatient practices.
Do you know what we found to be the #1 desire for all of these practice owners, no matter what setting they were in? They just want to win at the game of private practice.
There are so many things we do at NLPT to help private practice owners, but if I try to summarize it all for you, I think that the following sentences do the best job of it:
Since meeting the founders and first testing this stuff out in our own practices, and then testing it out on other practices all over the US and Canada, we just help you win more. Who doesn’t want that?
